The camera’s actually cumbersome when I’m stalking people
Time to weigh in with an official response to last week’s photoblogger slapfight that I was somehow called into. My initial response disregarded (because I needed a clearer view of the situation to form a more reasonable opinion), I’m not insulted in the least. I believe neither Dobkin or Lindsay were taking swipes at me. I look at the situation with bemusement and am grateful to have had the publicity.
That said:
I was glad to be the sole prinicipal in this argument who earnestly believes (and practices) that adults should not act as if they were in high school.
Also, if you’re trying to sell your media empire on the open market to the first over-enthusiastic idiot with a blog fetish and seven figures burning a hole in his/her wallet so that you can pay off your MBA loans, it would be most prudent to maintain a consistent professional demeanor in your communications. Just a note for future reference.
I thank everyone who supported me in this debacle, even though nothing was at stake and I couldn’t have been more delighted with the overall result. If anything, I was strongly encouraged to play out even more hijinks around town with Black Inches and friends. Rock on everyone.
