I really have no problem with this if the case is something along the lines like this: the company is in tough times, the management has a meeting with the employees well in advance to declare that there will be some form of alternate (or zero) holiday bonus compensation, and maybe the employees have some input (but not a final say) in the process.
However, if your company is doing well, your CEO is paid 400x a staff worker, and you’ve merely decided that your life is happier if you eliminate a standard and expected form of worker compensation, with little or no notice… You’re probably also one of those people that think the bottom line would be better if you could just cut staff salaries every year by 10%, while raising your own. In any case, that means you suck. A lot. And there’s no hope for you at all. Eat a dick.
